Kids Bike Hire (not electric). Approx 6 – 10 years of age kids, between 111-130cm in height. From $39-69 p/d City Location (self-serving Kiosk):. BOOK ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!  Includes helmet, padlock. This product must be accompanied by an Adult (a parent or elder 18 years of age needs to be with the kid when hiring this bike). You also need 2 adults present to lift the bike off its wall stand, its an easy light lift but best safety 2 is best. 

We highly recommend using this hire option at Dunedins Marlow Park (Click here for more info) and we do a drop-off option delivered to the park, click here to book that as an extra.

Please note these kids attachement steats can not be used on our electric bikes, you need to hire our Mountain Bike option for the seat to be compatible (CLICK here to book a bike).

The shotgun seat is designed for kids at least 2 years of age up to 5 years, and a max weight of up to 48lb or 22kg.

The adult operating the bike must be at least 18 years of age or older to use the kid seat attachment. 

For more detailed information if the seat is suitable for your child, please refer to (Specifications) 

You will be required to attach the seat (video) which is quick & easy to install, please watch that safety video and also need to remove it after your ride. 

The email instructions will include a padlock code to access the seat at our Kiosk Self-Serving building at 10 Harrow St. Allow an additional 15 minutes on each side of your hire to cover this process on the day of your hire. 

The actual Bike hire needs to be booked separately or in addition to this product. You're welcome to hire this kid seat only and use it on your bike providing it's compatible.

GO KART HIRE. Whether you're looking for a family outing or a fun ride with friends, our go-karts provide a fantastic way to enjoy Marlow Park's kids' bike playground to the fullest. Please note, these go-karts are not for use on the road and are not suitable for hills. Don't be mistaken these are also great fun for adults! 

We highly recommend using this hire option at Dunedins Marlow Park (Click here for more info) 

• The Pickup Location is from our city location at 10 Harrow Street. 
• The karts can fit in the back of a ute and/or station wagon. They may also fit in a smaller sedan depending on car size, if you fold down the seats
• Must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or more when hiring for younger riders.  Helmets are provided and must be worn.

• X2 Orange Style Three-wheeler Karts: Suitable for both adults and kids 8 years of age, as the seat is adjustable (slides forward to suit leg length for smaller or taller riders).
• X1 Yellow/Green Larger Four-wheeler Kart: Suitable for both adults and kids 8 years of age. This kart includes a free baby/kids' seat attached on the rear.
• X1 Smaller Three-Wheeler Kart: Specifically designed for younger ones aged 3-7, providing a safe and enjoyable experience

You generally get puffed a bit quicker depending on fitness levels, longer distance ride it is advised to not be in a rush and take your time, these are designed for leisure and when stopping to admire the harbour views the bonus is you don't have the fuss having to balance like do on a traditional bike.

This option is an alternative purchase option where you can select to get the bike dropped off at one of the locations below. You can also drop the bike off at the same location or at a different location listed.

Electric Bike Package - City Location to Port Chalmers includes Ferry Crossing with commentary as you cross over! Our team will collect the bikes from the Port for you! Start in the city, ride down to Portobello, cross Ferry and leave the bikes at the Port! (PERFECT FOR CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS). 

Any duration (full day) between 730am and 4pm (bikes can be collected from 730am at your leisure (great flexibility) then the bikes must be dropped at Port Chalmers at by 4pm (Booking instructions will provide more detail). 

This amazing PACKAGE (Bike, Ferry Crossing with short commentary as you cross the harbour) allows you to explore the Peninsular and the City before you head down the Harbour, stop off at amazing cafes on the way. Then cross the ferry having certainty. Commentary includes shipwrecks, birds, boats and more as we travel right through the centre of Dunedin's extinct volcano. Then ending your journey dropping the bikes at Port Chalmers (we collect for you), hop back on your Cruise Ship! Ferry Crossing times that must cross from Portobello to Port Chalmers are 10am, 12:35 pm (may vary when busy to 1:15 pm and 3:15pm (pick from any 3 times).

Alternatively, you can go down the Port Chalmers side of the harbour and not do the ferry crossing, if you opt to do that please note that the price remains the same to cover the bike collection services.
